Photographer Andrew Semark
Welcoming new contributor, photographer Andrew Semark. Here is a pretty spectacular introduction to his work! Looking forward to seeing more of his take on life in the beautiful south-west.
Sugarloaf Rock. This place has been photographed to death and I wanted to try and find a different angle. I was really stoked with how this shot came out.
This shot was taken chasing waves deep south. It was incredible to see the sheer power of the ocean hit a small patch of reef and explode.
This was taken at mufflers during an all day session. It plagued me because I wanted to do it in black and white, but I was unable to find the right tones. One day I sat down and came up with something I really liked.
This was an amazing wedding I shot in the Boranup forest. I just thought that this shot really showcases the area and how incredible it is.
This shot is from bunker bay. I love to go catch up with the lads and get the jet ski and shoot arvo tows down at Boneyards. The light down there is incredible.
This is a favourite. I had this shot in my mind for so long and nailed it on my first try. It is such an iconic location but seen from a completely different angle. The busso jetty also picked a print and it is now on display in the reception area.
Gracetown during an amazing lightning storm. I trekked out at about midnight and was caught up right in the middle of it and it was amazing.
