I love to shoot waves and water and a lot of the times I get stuck in my ways of freezing the action and having that super crisp empty wave which makes mind surfing a breeze, lately, partly because I have a decent tripod after breaking the last two I have enjoyed trying to make what would normally be a pretty mundane photo into something worth looking at (well according to my eyes anyway) having that motion blur change the whole aspect of the image. Without going into every technical aspect, all is required is a camera and a decent tripod for the images attached, yes you can incorporate panning and all types of flash technics and when used well and the right times can really draw the viewer into looking at the image in a whole new way.
